How to Check WAEC Result 2024 | Stey by Step Guide

We are pleased to announce that the results for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) are now available for checking. Candidates who sat for the internal and external examinations can access their results on the WAEC results checking portal using any convenient device.

To check your result, simply use the result checker pin and serial number found on the smart identity card used during the exams. This quick and easy process allows you to access your results instantly.

Candidates can access their WAEC results through two easy options: visiting the WAEC Result Checker portal at www.waecdirect.org or using SMS on their mobile devices. In either case, a WAEC scratch card is required to gain access to the results.

How to Check Results via Portal:

To uses the WAEC Result Checker option, follow the below steps;

1. Login to WAEC Result Checker website via www.waecdirect.org.
2. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number. (This is your 7-Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 4123456789). For examination year < 1999, enter your 8-digit WAEC Examination Number. (This is your 5-Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 19865001)
3. Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year eg. 2002
4. Select the Type of Examination
5. Enter the e-PIN Voucher Number
6. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your e-PIN
7. Click Submit and wait for the results window to come up

How to Check Via Serial Number:

1. Firstly, ensure your mobile phone is internet enabled.
2. Then you visit www.waecdirect.org
3. Enter your 10-digit Examination number,
4. Enter Serial Number
5. Enter the Examination year
6. Click on Check my WAEC Result.

How to Check Results via SMS:

To uses the SMS option for checking your WAEC results, follow the below steps

• Open your SMS app on your phone
• Type WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear (do not leave space in between).
• Send to 32327.
• You will receive a message instantly containing your WAEC statement of result.

Please note that the SMS option for checking WAEC results is exclusively available to MTN, Glo, and Airtel subscribers. If you didn’t receive your result via SMS, try again. Be aware that standard charges may apply for using this service.
