My Own, Poem by Vivienne Arinda

My Own

For hate is strong and mocks the soundage
Of peace on earth
For I knew our fate was furnished
I have toiled to look past your flaws
Though you are a terakihi
But hatred holds me by my silky yet hard hair
Guess I no longer have a heart
Its a mush and solitaire
Take me back to archipelago
I squab you with a dazzling smile
Well I owe it all I own
The light in the hate keeps me growing.
When you take a step close to light,
I want to send you into the air
And witness your plumage losing its grip
For I have given you an icing of my time.
