The Embassy of Ireland in Nigeria’s poetry competition has been launched in celebration of Bloomsday, tagged Bloomsday Writing Competition.

Bloomsday is the commemoration of the life and works of the great Irish writer James Joyce. Every year on June 16, fans all over the world celebrate Joyce’s extraordinary life and the global impact of his writing.
Theme: Isolation
The winner of the Bloomsday Writing Competition gets a cash prize of 50,000 NGN and publication on Brittle Paper.
Deadline: July 16, 2020
Entry Details:
- Poems should respond to the theme of isolation
- No more than 40 lines of poetry
- Email submissions to [email protected]
